USB 64GB Kingston problems?

Have a bad sector on the USB Drive and not able to format it and does not allow me to delete the bad sector file even though it's empty. Have tried using USB recover and repair (freeware) software but problem still occurs. Trying to use it on a Digital Photoframe and after adding photos to the USB and then placing it into the Frame it doesn't recognise the photos even though other USB stick do. Low GPA could be affected by none core engineering related subjects like history or gym (although colleges don't give gym anymore these days). If that is what is pulling down your GPA, then there should no problem here. Otherwise a low grade in a key engineering or science subject may need that to be repeated to show that you will work at it to gain competency. From you SAT scores, I don't think that is your problem.

I was an overweight child and got made fun of in elementary school and some in middle school also(but I did have some popular "friends"). But when I got to high school I, not necessarily became popular, but was friends with almost everyone! I had popular friends, "nerdy" friends, punker friends, goth friends, skater friends, etc etc. I didn't get made fun of anymore, I guess people mature in high school. I was always nice to people, I don't care what a person looks like, where they come from, what color their skin is, how much money they have or don't have...none of that matters to me. If you are nice to me, I will be nice to you and if a friendship occurs GREAT! I have always had a big heart and that has not changed...I went through a lot when I was young, had a really rough childhood but kept my head up through it all. But SO many things been happening in my life that it's hard to keep my mind on studies. So instead my mind was always focused on life. I understand life more than most kids my age should. It's like i gained all the expirenced too fast. And thats not good. I can't keep up with school because my parent's DO NOT have ANY faith in me what so ever. They think I'm a waste and shouldn't even be living. They do not apologize when they say wrong things. But I do. because i understand life more than them! I've been in love with someone before. I know how hard life can be. I've been through SO much pain. And my parents STILL push me harder. I can tell my dad hasn't. Maybe my mom has but she's too stubborn to help me with anything. When i try talking with them they just ignore me. When i say all these things to my dad he just says I'm stupid and my brains messed up. My dad is about to devorse my mom for another woman. And all my siblings i've never been close to because they are too young to understand life as much as me.... you might think i'm crazy so go ahead. But i'm just thinking of what i should do about this? My parent's should have been more responsible before having me...... I thank them for giving me a chance at life. But i'm also dissapointed that they can't even have atleast a little faith in me. I've been kicked out many times but taken back because they don't want to talk to cops.... No i have never thought about suicide because it's useless. I understand life alot. But geez.... This one's hard.....

My dog seems so sad, what could be wrong?

Here is a brief explanation of her current cirstances. She is my dog, but always lived with my mom & brother (a much busier house). She has been at my new house for almost a week. Did good at first and better behaved everyday as far as whining at night, roaming around lost-like, etc. But today she seems SO sad. Her little eyes are sad. We recently found out we will not be able to keep her in our new house :( So I am in the process of interviewing families to find her a new home. Yesterday we visited a house with a male dog same breed and they got along great. I had read once some where on this site that many dogs get sad after having played with another dog. Is there any truth to this? It's either that or she misses her first home, my mom's house. But it has ONLY been today that she seems sad & she has been here almost a week. OR is it possible that she can sense my heartache and stress at the fact of having to re-home her?!? or absolutely not? Otherwise she is eating & drinking fine. Opinion appreciated

How to deal w/my son's awful, tyrant of a first-grade teacher?

No, he wasn't treated as if he killed someone. His recess was just taken away. You really think your son should be allowed to vandalize school property, curse, break crayons and drop them and leave them on the floor without consequence? He's not 2. He knows these things are wrong and he's testing the school rules. He's acting out. How WOULD you have the teacher handle this? Just let him be a little terror without consequence? Personally, I think you should get a bill for a couple of new boxes of crayons and a desk. SUPPORT the teacher who is trying to help your son learn how to function in school. By the way, this behavior wouldn't be allowed in ANY clroom. If I were you, I would ask for a conference. Be very supportive. Suggest to the teacher that you and she come up with a positive behavior plan. Pick about 5 specific behavioral things to concentrate on. There should be a little chart for him. The teacher should give FREQUENT feedback (perhaps every hour or perhaps for every segment of the day; ie story time, science lab, etc.) So he gets a happy, neutral or frown face every segment of time. If he has say only one frown for the day, he gets a small prize. The key is FREQUENT feedback to remind your son of what is expected. Kids who are impulsive and/or hyperactive need that frequent feedback. Good luck.

It sounds very much like you have pnuemonia. I know this is a gross question but when you cough are you coughing up phlegm? If so, spit it in the sink to swee what color it is, so you can at least tell your Dr about tomorrow. If by chance, it looks like there's blood in the phlegm go NOW to the ER as it would probably be a severe case of pnuemonia. The heaviness of the breathing is what makes it sound like pnuemoni now. Get ALOT of juices water etc, right now that's more important than eating. It's not allergies.

I was adopted because my parents can't have children. I grow up in China and had a horrible childhood. The first time my mom took me hunting was for dove. (We live in Tennessee) I'd recommend birds because you don't have to be as accurate with shotgun shells. The only problem with duck hunting is the chance she'll get wet, and I imagine wet in Alaska is not the best experience. I agree that deer hunting is a good option if she can sit quitely for an extended period. If you don't live in Alaska,(couldn't tell from question) definately go with the moose or bear because it's one of those once in a lifetime hunts. I think whatever you choose she'll have a great time learning about the great outdoors. Despite what Jolene said, hunting is a great way to learn about the great outdoors. Ok so this girl on my floor and i were really good friends at the beginning of our freshman year at college. The one thing i did notice was that she was extremely fake not only does she wear 20,000 loads of make up but she one of those people who wants to be friends with everyone and anyone so that everyone likes her and she prides herself on knowing a lot of the freshman cl ect..that didnt bother me but what did was when she would change herself 120 percent when she was around different people, she became so agreeable she lost all of her own opinions. The thing is now..its 3 quarter and up until know we were fine but we had a cl together and one day she started putting me down and ditching me for another girl in the cl. I think she got jealous when me and one of the other girls in the cl started chatting in cl and the other girl was more interested in getting to know me. So shes been really weird and moody lately im cl she wont even acknowledge me (she even turns her back towards me when im standing next to her) and when we are in the same group she does anything to put me down, like im stupid but most of the time i check with the teacher and she says I m right. Like today i saw her in the store and she was like "oh i want caramel ice cream" and she picked one up and i was like "oh here this one isnt no sugar" and she was like "oh silly thats not caramel ice cream!" And looked at it and it said carmel on it in English and in Spanish cause she speaks both languages. And after i left her i saw her get the one i pointed out for her! A few weeks later for the fun of it I was browsing ebay and won a small bid to get him a white gold wedding band. A couple weeks after that when we went to Walmart he chose a wedding band for me. About the $60, I had an idea to tell him instead of paying me back him getting me a belated birthday gift with the amount I loaned him (he feels bad he gave me something that cost $6). Something I will always remember and something sweet. Something I'll take to heart. Something I'll enjoy seeing and may even cry over. I know for a fact you can find an engagement ring for less than $60 on ebay (I browsed it for the hell of it) and pretty sure at Walmart you can get atleat a tinsy winsy diamond or cubic circonium ring for that fee. I'm not really into jewelery and only wear a cross, but those rings on a womans finger is kind of like a marking of love. What do you think?

i entered an essay contest in school a month ago in which i had to write a 500-600 word essay on who influenced hispanic culture the most. I turned my essay in the day before yesterday, and today my ninth grade spanish teacher kept me after cl to talk about me about my essay, she said that she wanted me to re- write the essay in my own words, i took it as "i don't think you wrote this" i threw in a lot of big words into the essay which might have been why she thought i didn't write it. How do I get my cat to stop scratching something it shouldn't be?

My cat keeps scratching the carpet near mine and my roommates' doors (so it can get its paws under the door and ultimately attempt to pull it open). I have tried ignoring it, but it does NOT quit- it will go for 20 minutes if you let it. I have tried verbally reprimanding it or banging on the door when it does. I have even squirted it with water a few times, but now it just stands back when it hears me get up. Is there something that will deter the cat?

RICE vinegar to clean coffee pot?

I usually run distilled white vinegar through the coffee pot, because I heard that helped clean it, and it seems to taste cleaner when I do this. I rinse and run it again with water of course. But, this time, I don't have any distilled white vinegar, only rice vinegar. It is clear. Would it be okay to use rice vinegar instead? It won't ruin the coffee pot or anything, will it?

I have 2 issues with my 93 Prelude.?

I do not know much about cars I bought my Prelude in 95 and has been great. I do have the follwing 2 issues, and I am not sure if it is the same problem. 1) I constantly loose presure on the clutch pedal. I refill with Dot 3 brake fluid avery month or so. 2) I am unable to accelerate like have in the past. Especially if I am going uphill. Even when I am going at a decent speed, if I increase presure on the gas pedal the RPM's shoot up, but I do not accelerate. I have to give a little presure on the gas pedal, Cannot even press down half way to the floor before the RPM's shoot up. I am not sure if replacing the clutch is the right solution. Any information will be helpful. Thanks

yes its fine its not so much the pressure as much as having it instantly, oil pressure is dictated by clearances in the motor but as long as the guage goes up when you start the truck youll be fine especially because those guages are very inaccurate. when it starts dropping below that you have a problem internally in the motor

How competitive/how much of a time commitment is it to play for a college's club soccer team? I understand it's one tier above intramural, and one tier below varsity athletics. Are most of the players former club players? Kids who just played in their high schools? Just for fun players? Tips in TTC with PCOS?

I was diagnosed with PCOS earlier this year and am now due with my first on the 22nd of this month. As I'm sure you've been told it's not impossible to conceive with PCOS, just a bit tougher. Have the dye test! I fell pregnant on my second cycle after I had that done. I can't say for certain whether this contributed or not, but I suspect that it did as the same happened for my Aunt many years ago. A sensible diet, and weight loss (if needed) really can help with PCOS and ttc. Personally, my doctor prescribed me with metformin which, although typicaly used for diabetes, does regulate your periods. By regulating my periods, I at least knew roughly when to 'try' in the month. Otherwise, just keep an eye on your cycles and try to relax as much as poss. I hope it all works out for you. x

Daily Dog Question #31 11/27/07?

I was bitten, badlly by a stray I was rescuing. Dept of health had the vet quaranteen for 2 weeks, said he would show any health symptoms before I would.. I got him back and trained him. I think it really needs to depend on the attack and witnesses. A relative put her beautiful husky down because it bit a little girl in the neighborhood and they felt they were doing the right thing however sad. A few months later they saw the girl that was bitten, pulling the ears of another dog until it yelped. I really feel the animal should be confined as an absolute, required training with proof, and again based on the severity and cirstances. NY,NJ is in the middle of a case with a GSD who bit a landscaper but is the ultimate family dog and the law requires he be put down, end of discussion. Lawmakers are trying to change law to adapt to cirstances. No brainer to me -- dog bites landscaper, we don't know what this guy did, plus he was an invader in the dog's eyes. Sorry so wordy, needs to be cirstance specific!
