Yes or No - California Proposition 2?

i am against california's proposition 2 because i don't believe that a ballot put out to the public does not help out the smaller farmers and will end up killing the smaller farmers Business.the general public does not know enough about the industry in order to make an educated and informed vote because 90% have never lived in farming communities and don't know the hardships that most of the farmers face.do i think it was the right idea,yes,but to put it to a public vote is the wrong way to change an industry.
