How do i make a girl laugh or at least give her small hints that i like her during texting?

Rlly i dont want to give big hints like xoxox or watever but like girls what would you lke a guy to tell you or give you a hint that he likes you? i texted a girl and we were textng for about 45 minutes and she told me whts up and we got off from there. i rlly want to make her feel warm and that i like her. plz dont say stuff like "be yourself" or "hey y" thnx.
