One wiper works on my 1985 Plymouth Reliant, but my driver's side wiper does not move...what's wrong?

I have a 1985 Plymouth Reliant. I just replaced the wiper blades and the driver's side wiper stopped moving. Meanwhile, the other wiper works perfectly. Could someone offer some advice and suggestions as to what they think it might be?
