Cant get my DVDs to play in 5.1, i have the proper set up digital amp sound blaster sound card , I'm lost ???

Does your sound card have a optical output? If so then connect your sound card to your amplifier using a fibre optic lead. Set your amplifier to recieve signals via optical input.
