Is there anyone who has traveled from Syria to Jordan or vice versa by train recently? Also Syria-Istanbul.?

I had travelled from Turkey to Syria by Train and consequently from Syria to Istanbul (Turkey) by road in 2001 (July-Aug'2001). The journey was very long but full of enjoyment.
