What do you think the chances are I'll get at least a cheap engagement ring with my plan?

My husband and I have already been married for a little over a month. When we first had our vowels said, we didn't have any rings. A few weeks later for the fun of it I was browsing ebay and won a small bid to get him a white gold wedding band. A couple weeks after that when we went to Walmart he chose a wedding band for me. It may sound stupid since we're married, but we kind of put our money 2 different ways other than bills and our daughter. From a money issue and him having not such a good paying job, this past month I've loaned him $60. As I said we have wedding bands, but when he asked me to marry him, he didn't purpose with an engagement ring. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the ring I have but feel jelious every time I see a woman wearing a wedding band and engagment ring together. I feel like I have something missing. About the $60, I had an idea to tell him instead of paying me back him getting me a belated birthday gift with the amount I loaned him (he feels bad he gave me something that cost $6). Something I will always remember and something sweet. Something I'll take to heart. Something I'll enjoy seeing and may even cry over. I know for a fact you can find an engagement ring for less than $60 on ebay (I browsed it for the hell of it) and pretty sure at Walmart you can get atleat a tinsy winsy diamond or cubic circonium ring for that fee. I'm not really into jewelery and only wear a cross, but those rings on a womans finger is kind of like a marking of love. What do you think?
