What is an ethnic minority ?

I mean, seriously, what is it. Do you know what percentage of the worlds population is cled as ethnically white. The answer is.....8$....yes that's right, just 8%. So therefore surely white people should be cled as ethnic minority, especially as these days we are encouraged to think globally i.e. the global economy. Boy, I just can't wait for affirmative action programmes for white people !!!
